NOTICE OF VETERANS’ PREFERENCE
There is no formal rating system for applying veterans’ preference to attorney appointments in the excepted service; however, the Department of the Navy Office of the General Counsel considers veterans’ preference eligibility a positive factor for attorney hiring.
